“People are going to news and prophets to determine where we are at in the end times - when we should be going to the Bible is the best source to interpret the Bible.“
Revelation Reboot
Does the Book of Revelation point to a future date for Christ’s victory?
We live in a crazy time: Pandemics, riots, racism, political chaos.
Many pastors, teachers and prophets are pointing to the book of Revelation claiming that this is what the Bible prophesied all along.
But is that God’s intention?
The Book of Revelation was written to Christians who were also living in chaotic times. They were suffering persecution from both the Jews and the Romans. Their world was turning upside down. Many were questioning God: “Where is He? Does He care about us? Does He have a plan? Will things just keep getting worse?”
To these believers, Jesus sent a message of hope through the Apostle John: The Book of Revelation. It has always been, and will always be a book of hope for every Christian.
Course Overview
The Book of Revelation is perhaps the most hotly debated book in the Bible. For most of us the pictures and images of dragons, beasts and world catastrophes are so confusing that we abandon the book all together. But what if we had some clues to help us understand all of the craziness? In this class we will attempt to interpret Revelation using the Bible itself as our guidebook (mostly the Old Testament). Our goal is to discover the meaning for First Century believers, as well as an application of the book for us today. Join us in a study of Revelation that's filled with hope and victory!
This is a 2.5-hour class on Zoom which includes a time of Question and Answer with Rich Schmidt on Revelation.
This course will be offered at 2 times:
